Gallaghers Removals

We recently used Gallagher’s of Newcastle for our move from Gateshead to Morpeth, which also involved collecting several items from a second property in South Shields. The team arrived with two vehicles and, although we didn’t use the packing service, they came well prepared with plenty of blankets and protective materials to keep all the furniture safe.

Five lads turned up, all of them absolutely positive, proactive, and professional throughout the day. They worked closely with our handyman, who was helping to sort items out of the cellar, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It turned into a long day, but everything went as smoothly as we could have hoped.

We probably could have found a cheaper service, but I genuinely don’t think we would have received the same high level of care and effort elsewhere. We really couldn’t fault them and would highly recommend Gallagher’s of Newcastle to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking removal team.

I contacted Anth a couple of weeks ago, for my move he got back to me promptly and I updated him as we got closer to the date, The team were excellent they arrived early and made a great job of packing the van, they have blankets to cover valuables, packing film where needed and excellent full soft packaging bags for sofa removals. Although there was plenty of gear they were great nothing damaged and everything put in the correct rooms.
Next time I need some containers to store stuff so will definitely use them again no doubt. They look after your gear and are on the ball.

Contacted Gallagher's after a friend highly recommended them. From first contact to the finish the service was excellent. Anth quoted us a very reasonable price which we accepted. He also arranged for packing supplies to be dropped off a week before the move. on day of move the lads turned up on time and nothing was a bother to them. They professionally loaded and unloaded my possessions like the experts they are. No damages at all. They also came back a few weeks later to collect the used boxes. would highly recommend Gallagher's, I have moved a few times and used other companies but Gallagher's are by far the best we have used. .

Gallagher’s provided what can only be described as an outstanding service. From the point of contact they provided a quote quickly and provided confidence that they knew what they were talking about. The quote was incredibly reasonable. They turned up on the removal day exactly when they said they would and I have never seen three men work so hard. They moved all our belongings without any breakages or damage and I really have no hesitation in recommending them if you need a removal company

We used Gallagher removals while moving house from Newcastle to Alnwick last September. Their service was absolutely professional throughout. The movers handled our belongings with care and nothing was damaged during moving and storage. Access to our new place was quite narrow but they worked around it without any issues and even laid down protective coverings over the stair carpets to protect them on moving day which happened to be rather rainy and muddy. Would absolutely recommend Gallagher movers for their top notch service throughout.

Efficient and professional service. Particularly good customer service from the beginning and throughout. From obtaining quotes, (Removal and storage) removing goods on the day, friendly team, storage and realesed to new property location when new property was available. Collection and release date and times were accommodating to my schedule. Team arrived as per estimated time provided. Special item goods handled with extra care. Costs very reasonable compared to national companies who've provide me with poor service in the past. Monthly invoice and payment methods process efficient. Highly recommend Gallaghers to family, friends and would use service again.

We used Gallaghers for both our removals and Storage.

They provided an excellent service on both at competitive prices. Provided us with

boxes because we chose to do our own packing.

On the day of moving they were punctual and kept us informed every step of the way.

We were concerned about the storage because it was going to be in a while (6 months +) but we are assured it would be fine because it’s kept in a dry environment and once in storage it’s not moved about. So we were comfortable leaving it.

Once we moved into our new home once again they were punctual and hard working. Would recommend.
